Smoking Cessation

Smoking Cessation is a topic being researched by Oxford Clinical Approaches to Psychosis at the University of Oxford. The aim of this app is to illicit strong emotional responses in participants, and induce cravings towards smoking cigarettes.

The study is being created as a pilot for a larger study on using VR to manage cravings, and provide an alternative for chronic smokers whom have been unsuccessful in quitting smoking.

What I did:

  • Development of activities using Unity/C#

  • Designing activities with Psychologists

  • Creating Visual Effects and Shaders

  • Optimisation for Quest 3

  • Deployment for pilot study
